An executive in professional baseball for over 40 years, Schley was one of the "Founding Fathers" of the Futures League as the principal owner of the Brockton Rox from their days as an independent franchise through their joining the Futures League in 2012. He has owned numerous championship-winning clubs at the professional level and is also an advocate for growing the sport internationally.
