Bio

Weber is best known for owning the Lowell Spinners, the former minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, but also played a key role in the founding of the Futures League and served as the original owner of the Nashua Silver Knights. Weber and his late wife Joann purchased the Spinners in 1997, shortly after the franchise moved to Lowell, and he guided the club through years of success that included long sellout streaks at LeLacheur Park and deep community engagement, helping make the Spinners a cherished part of summers in the Merrimack Valley. Weber remained involved in New England baseball beyond his tenure with the Spinners, owning and operating the Silver Knights until 2019.
